Time To Buy Your Fishing Licence |

Location: England and Wales
It is a legal requirement that any angler aged 12 years or over, fishing for salmon, trout, freshwater
fish or eels in England (except the River Tweed), Wales or the Border
Esk and its tributaries in Scotland must have an Environment Agency rod
licence.
There is an exception to this ruling which allows anyone who is undergoing formal coaching by a qualified angling coach to fish without the need to buy a licence while undergoing the coaching sessions.
All of the coaching sessions held by YAP are covered by this exception.
The costs of a licence are:
